Within the limitations and restrictions provided in this chapter, the total of the areas of all signs which a particular establishment is permitted to display shall be computed according to the following formula:

    One square foot of sign area per one lineal foot of street frontage for not to exceed one hundred (100) feet of such street frontage.

    Provided, that no establishment in any zoning district shall display more than one hundred (100) square feet of sign. (Ord. 892 § 3-3, 1991)
